Slightly Mad Studios has confirmed recently that the sequel to Project Cars is on track to launch later this year, around September.
CEO Ian Bell went on to say – “It’s still a very tight run as we’re a bit behind on GUI and Career so nothing is set in stone yet. Current guess is Septemberish,” noted the CEO.
In an earlier post, Bell said that The sequel will not be missing “none of the famous brands” from the game.
Project Cars 2 was announced back in 2015 as a PC, PS4, and Xbox One title, Slightly Mad promised to include even more racing disciplines, particularly off-road sports will we see Rally and Rally Cross?.
The game’s career mode is being developed with co-op in mind, another big feature. The developer has not yet released gameplay footage, though this will likely change in the coming months.
