Another week has gone by, and as usual, the charts are forever changing depending on what you the gamers are buying. As of late Sunday night, the charts are looking like this:
Although it has been ‘slated’ as the worst COD game ever, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still hanging on to the number 1 spot. Maybe it’s not as bad as everyone thinks, or maybe the Christmas ‘noobs’ are helping it stay there for now. Either way, its main rival – Battlefield 1, has now slipped down to 4th place, and although it’s still kicking it up in the top 5, it’s surely a bit disappointing for EA to see its rival doing so well. As usual Grand Theft Auto V is still hanging on in there, it’s quite an amazing feat when you consider the game was originally released in November 2014. 2 yrs+ later and it’s still bringing in the crowds.
What do you think about this week’s chart? Is it a fair description of the gaming market as a whole, or are the Christmas sales giving a false reading of the actual community? let us know in the comments below.
