Ahhhh, Micro Machines, a good ole’ fashioned multiplayer racing game from back in the day, and when I say back in the day I mean waayyy back on the Sega Megadrive. The original Micro Machines was the first game in a series of 4 that laid the foundations of the top-down racing genre. The race tracks are unconventionally themed, with some races taking place on a billiard table while others occur in a garden and even in a bath tub.
Good news if you’re an old gamer like myself, it seems Codemasters may very well be releasing a new Micro Machines game. Not much exists info wise at the moment apart from a few promotional images, however, it’s likely the game will be a lot like Codemasters Micro Machines successor – Toy Box Turbos.
Expect colourful top-down racing, wacky weapons, oversized billiard balls and other everyday items, as well as loads of diddy racing cars doing battle on tabletops and in other domestic environments.
