Nvidia has officially revealed the GeoForce GTX 1080T1. That’s not really much of a surprise considering Nvidia’s previous form. Generally, they reveal a Ti version 6-9 months after a base version was revealed so it was almost a given that this was going to happen. The GTX 1080 Ti will set you back $699, not a bad price when you look at the comparisons between this and others from Nvidia. It’s set to fill up the pricing space between the standard 1080, and the ever popular (but expensive) Titan X.
If you’re looking for a more affordable PC GPU capable of delivering graphically rich 4K gameplay at 60fps, at a fraction of the Titans cost, this is for you. Looking at the stats, we see a good overall match to the Titan, meaning that the ‘out of the box’ GTX 1080 Ti could very well match, if not possibly outperform Nvidia’s flagship, Titan X!
