Fernando Melo has recently taken to twitter to showcase a few new snippets of information regarding the upcoming Mass Effect Andromeda Game. The Bioware Producer has tweeted 4 new screenshots around the game’s character selection and customization and let us in on a few pieces of new multiplayer information.
According to the tweets, you will be able to play as a female in the multiplayer games. All races will be covered, this includes the Krogan’s. The only slight change here is the Asari will not have a male counterpart (obviously). Once you’ve chosen your character you will be able to select your own unique looks for them with regards to armour colours etc, these will only be cosmetic and there will be no option to alter things like facial features.
The ever popular ‘Packs’ will be making an appearance once again, and the new progression system will be very similar to the previous Mass Effect Game but with more options available. Interestingly, depending on what character you choose, determines what rarity level you can receive, with each level portrayed by a ring around the character’s portrait. Every single kit also levels up independently, along with their own unique voice and personality. And finally, during every match each player contributes to the total experience granted, it doesn’t matter if you’re the best or the worst in the team, every little helps. This experience will be totalled up and granted to every player at the end of the round.
Mass Effect Andromeda releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 21st in North America and on March 23rd in Europe.
