Nintendo has just announced the release of Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Sine Mora EX on Nintendo Switc. Set for a staggered release, Sine Mora EX will come to Switch in summer 2017 for £15.99 UK / 19.99 EUR while Battle Chasers: Nightwar will follow in late summer/autumn for £24.99 UK / 29.99 EUR.
Although they appear quite similar in regards to the art direction, the games couldn’t be any further apart.
Sine Mora EX is a side-scrolling shoot’em up that provides a unique challenge, where time is the ultimate factor. Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with contemporary presentation, Sine Mora is a gorgeous shoot’em up offering both a Story Mode that weaves an over-the-top tale and an Arcade Mode that provides deep, satisfying gameplay to challenge fans of the genre. The story mode can be also played in local co-op mode.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is an RPG inspired by the classic console greats, featuring deep dungeon diving, turn-based combat presented in a classic JRPG format, and a rich story driven by exploration of the world.
These two games are set to be some of the first third-party games to be made available on the Nintendo Switch. THQ Nordic Business and Product Development Director Reinhard Pollice had this to say about their upcoming titles:
“We are extremely excited to be amongst the first to bring third-party games to this stellar and innovative platform. We feel like both, Sine Mora EX and Battle Chasers: Nightwar, are perfect fits for Nintendo Switch in terms of gameplay, style and looks. We are already looking forward to enjoying these games on our Switch as well!”
