For Honor will be free to play this weekend ahead of the Season 4 update

Season 4 in the For Honor universe is set to begin on November 14th for season pass holders (and November 21st for everyone else). And as if to go ‘hand in hand’ with this release, Ubisoft has a free play event coming up this weekend – what a coincidence! This free play weekend is the perfect chance for you to get a taste of just what you’re missing. Play as either the Knights, Vikings or my personal favorites – The samurai’s, in this all out ‘hack and slash’ style fighting game.

What are the details for this I hear you cry, well, For Honor will be free across ALL platforms. Starting at 12.00am PT on November the 9th, and running until 12.00am PT on November 13th. More importantly, if you happen to fall in love with the game during the vent, then you will be able to digitally download the full game at a discounted rate. Discounts are available up to 60% and your progress from the weekend will carry over into the full game.

For Honor season 4 – The Order and Havoc update brings the usual array of goodies, including 2 new maps, 2 new modes, a plethora of shiny new gear and 2 new characters – The Aramusha is inspired by historical samurai Miyamoto Musashi and will wield dual katanas. And the Shaman, a character who looks a lot like the Berserker but fights with a hatchet and a dagger.
